Released on 22 of October 2009, Windows 7 is by far a hundred times better than it's predecessor, Windows Vista. Originally named Backcomb is was later renamed to Vienna in early 2006 and then to what we know it as now, it was renamed in 2007 to Windows 7. According to the Telegraph, Microsoft Windows 7 has sold approximately 235% more in about 10 days than Vista has since it's release in January 2007. According to Amazon, it had received more pre-orders for Windows 7 than it had received pre-orders for the final Harry Potter book, The Deathly Hallows. Windows 7 is like the new and improved version of Windows Vista because they pretty much look the same apart from a few graphical bits but Windows 7 is alot leaner, and alot meaner. Windows 7 – Review
20 Nov 2009After finally getting Windows 7 and getting it successfully installed on my laptop and 100% operating then restoring my backup and Installing all the programs I need, I have to say, I'm pretty impressed. So far I've had no crashes and it's been functioning exceptionally. Software including Adobe Master collection installed easily without any errors and just generally using the operating system for general everyday computer use was quite fast. The start menu has been completely revamped and looks a lot better than Vista's. The search box is extremely fast and that's before everythings been indexed....
